Job description
As a Naval Architect, your main mission will be to:
- Collect the basic data: vessel data, transported components, environmental conditions, mooring line, anchor type, relevant standards etc.
- Evaluate Vessel RAO and QTF using dedicated Software, for example WADAM, WASIM etc.
- Carry out Vessel Motion Analysis at selected points (4 to 10 indicatively) vs. site environmental conditions
- Assess Transportation Loads
- Carry out Mooring Analysis, Extreme & Fatigue Mooring Line Analysis
- Define Limiting Criteria
- Select suitable environmental conditions for extreme and fatigue analysis
- Carry out Global and Local Structural Analysis
- Define structural integrity criteria vs. project/company/international standards
- FEM Model Global or Local Model Development, FEM matrix cases definition, FEM analysis
- Reporting
- Offshore Support, if requested
Your Profile
- 5 years experience
- Softwares: GMOOR, Moses, SACS
- Experience in Mooring Analysis
